Getting the correct group size and AGM specification for your specific model and year is the first thing that has to be right, and it's something a lot of generic battery swaps get wrong.
An Honest Note About Battery Registration
Many BMWs built roughly since 2013 use an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS) that monitors battery health and charging behaviour. On these models, a new battery is sometimes meant to be electronically registered to the car's system after installation, so the charging system recognizes it correctly. Our mobile technicians install the correct AGM battery for your BMW's make, model, and year, but we do not currently perform electronic battery registration — that requires dealership-level diagnostic equipment. If your model requires registration, we'll let you know at the time of service so you can have that step completed separately if you choose to. Plenty of BMW owners run for years on a properly installed but unregistered battery without issue; registration mainly affects how precisely the car's system tracks battery health over time, not whether the car starts and runs.
